Description
New! 110 Days. (Cucurbita pepo) Heirloom Developed out of Connecticut Field Pumpkin as a carving type by Massachusetts farmer John Howden in the 1960s. Still the archetypal jack-o-lantern type, preferred for large size (to 25 lbs), thick stem, shallow ribbing and relatively thin walled “punkins”. Makes a fair pie; seeds are wonderful roasted. Tolerant to black rot. 2,900 seeds/lb. Pkt (~40 seeds)
