Cow Manna From Heaven.

Our cows are big fans of our Organic Potatoes. Any tuber with a defect finds its way to the barn after being ground up for safer eating. Young calves are observant and at an early age, after watching their mothers chow down on the spuds, pick up the lifetime potato treat habit themselves.

Here, Megan brings over - a pair at a time - buckets full of cull potatoes. The Potatoes have been run through an electric-powered potato grinder fabricated for us by Leroy & Glen at 'Lawrence Bros' in Mars Hill. We're on our second motor now, but that grinder is still going strong after almost daily use for 30 years.

Organic farms are famous for turning waste into an asset. In this case, high quality protein when combined with Organic grass from rotated Potato ground.
