CALEB PRESSURE WASHING HIS FORD PICKUP TRUCK. Twelve years ago Caleb picked up this 1994 F350 Crew cab pickup truck. Rare for Maine, it was free of rust and he engineered himself a good deal.

Caleb then commenced to completely rebuild that truck from bumper-to-bumper. He stripped it down, totally rebuilt the 7.3 liter Diesel engine, and the drive train, and repainted it. With the big tires and high springs you almost need a step-ladder to climb into the cab.

Caleb’s truck doesn’t know what road salt is. He carefully parks it in the Fall and keeps it off Maine roads for the duration of our long, cold Winters. This F350 is now middle-aged and has 260,000 miles on it. Caleb’s plans are to run this reliable truck for many more years and many more miles.

This Spring, the clutch began to slip and Caleb made plans to replace that clutch after planting. Here, Caleb is using our two Clark Forklifts to hold the truck up in the air so he can pressure wash off the road grime from the undersides. A cleaned machine is easier, faster and more pleasant to work on.
