NEW PEER-REVIEWED STUDY INDICTS GLYPHOSATE AS A DANGEROUS MEGA AERIAL-SPREADER. Last winter, Allagash logger and Maine Senate President Troy Jackson (D-Aroostook) reintroduced his bill to ban the aerial spraying of Glyphosate (and all other herbicides) on Maine forests. A strong coalition led by MOFGA (Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Assn) fought hard and was effective in getting the bill to pass both Houses of the Maine Legislature. At the 11th hour, Governor Janet Mills took some poor advice from the corporate-captive ‘Maine Forest Service’ and made the terrible mistake of vetoing this strong environmental bill which had the broad statewide support of Mainers.
