Dairy crisis: Canada works to protect small dairy farms

CANADA HAS MUCH TO TEACH AMERICA ABOUT HOW HOW BEST TO MANAGE FAMILY DAIRY FARMS. Contrary to their delusions of grandeur, Industrial Ag does NOT sit next to the Almighty. Current Factory Farm dominance is due to disastrous POLICIES invented by mere mortals: faceless revolving-door-bureaucrats and self-serving cheerleader-politicians whose pockets have been stuffed full of cash, courtesy of altruistic-challenged captains of Industrial Ag.
Canada's milk quota system has kept its family dairy farmers financially healthy and made its milk supply stable and sound. Contrast this well-functioning Canadian model to America where family dairy farmers are being savagely liquidated by the growing impact 10,000-30,000 cow Mega-CAFOs (Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations). These American factory farms have mastered externalizing their massive costs of both environmental and community health destruction.
