Potato Seed
I just wanted to tell you how happy we are with the seed potatoes we got from you and that the advice was fantastic! Our potatoes this year are wonderful! After trying and failing to grow simply edible stock, we had given up. After talking to Jim, and discussing our problem with "hot" potatoes, we finally got not just edible, but delicious taters!

Seed potatoes
At age 68, I have cut back on the size of my vegetable garden. But as long as I can have a basket of potatoes from the garden to the cold cellar to the kitchen, I will grow your wonderful potatoes. I am also training 2 grandchildren to do the bulk of the work,so when I fall apart they will continue. You are a real treasure!

Perfect Name
My 2nd favorite potato after all-blue! Large, tasty rosey potatoes that keep fairly well. They are also the favorite of the chipmunks in my garden!

Our other favorite
Mom's favorite this year was the Rose gold, it gave some great spuds which we shared with friends that now want to know what I am growing next year. I don't have enough left to can!

A nice looking potato worth trying
Rose Gold was a middle-of-the-road potato for us. I am giving this potato a 5 on great looks alone. We had a 9% germination failure and 17% of the plants had the Colorado Potato on them at some point throughout the growing season. I want to grow this potato again next year to see if I can increase the germination rate and yield before I give it less than a 5 rating. I want to point out that I still consider 17% pest rate low for potatoes with mechanical pest management (we used no pesticides on our potatoes), so don't let the 17% deter you from trying this very nice looking potato.
