A good producer
I planted 90 row feet of King Harry last year and was very pleased with the production. I used the straw mulch method of placing the seeds directly onto some prepared soil and covered them with 12" of straw. Never watered them once the entire season and harvested 145 lbs. of beautiful, tasty white spuds.

Awesome!!
The seed potatoes arrived in excellent condition, and started growing right away. I did not get a chance to heel them up, and I still got a large number of wonderful tasting taters! King Hairy also stored well in our pantry.

Disappointed
I grow King Harry for two years. I bought it because they promised King Harry has some resistance to potato bug. It was not true for me. Potato bugs ate King Harry just as other varieties. No difference. Too bad.

They call it "King" for a reason!
The King Harry produced the highest pound/plant yield of all of the 15 Wood Prairie Farm seed potatoes we planted this year. Large, consistent potatoes. The King Harry will definitely be included in our report orders.
