caribe seed
This Spring I ordered Caribe & Butte potatoes from you, my first purchase from your company. I haven't dug any Butte yet but wanted to tell you that we have been eating on the Caribe for about a month and they are Super! Beautiful to look at, wonderful to taste, with no flaws or disease. It's been years (if ever) since we so enjoyed potatoes. I'll be back next year!!!

This is the second year that I have planted your potatoes. I wanted to tell you that I enjoy not only the quality but the wide variety if different potatoes you have available. My personal favorite is the Caribe. It bears heavy and is a pretty color to boot! It has been a pleasure to deal with your company in ordering and I look forward to receiving your catalog nex t year.

We are enjoying our potato crop. We planted 10 lbs of your seed and just harvested 215 lbs of Rose Gold and Caribe. They did so well, I thought we would try for a second crop.

Caribe seed
I bought a sample packet 2 years ago. They all grew wonderful. I dug them up and enjoyed them. Apparently I did not get all the Caribe and they came back the next time the weather was favorable. I was shocked when they came up so I let them be. I dug those, ate a few and saved few. I replanted those and the excess rain just made the garden turn to mush, even carrots that were at seed did not even finish forming seeds. Then the summer heat just beat my garden to straw, I even lost a 5'x 5' rosemary plant. So I did not even dig that area and let it go to grass. About 2 months ago I found a potato growing and I now have 6 plants. I know the time is short for them as it was October when they started coming up so I just plan on saving them for seed again. The weather has really been my nemesis as I have 9 blooms on my okra in December. They seem to take the water, heat and even not even knowing they are there. This is truly a wonderful variety and plan ordering a Lb of seed to add to these because they are gems in the potato world to me.

Caribe & Cranberry Red Seed
I live in Maine, and will not plant till after Memorial Day. Last year I had 2/3 of my potatoes rot. I had planted early and we had record rainfall. it was because of this that I found your website and ordered Cranberry Red, and Caribe . They were planted well into June and have a better harvest than the original 1/3 that survived the rains. I will definately order from you again.

We had a tough
Dear Gerritsen Family,
we had a tough growing year- too much rain, not enough sun, too many mice, late tomato blight, etc, etc. Yet we still got a winter's worth of good potatoes. Caribes continue to be our most consistent producer.
