Butte seed Your company is tops and the seed potatoes are too! I harvested 100 lbs of Butte potatoes from a 50 ft row. This was only a 5 lb investment. My wife says "The best potato for potato salad."

Butte Seed I ordered 20 lbs of Butte seed potatoes last year and they yielded about 350 lbs of potatoes. I'm still giving potatoes away and I have plenty in storage. Great seed--Great Potato year! You seed potatoes are the best! Thanks.

Butte Seed I green sprouted all the seeds. This worked extremely well. The Yukon Golds were hit hard by late blight (carried over from Idaho Potato fields), The others, especially the Butte, held up well!!! I harvested 125 lbs for 5 lbs of seeds. Excellent disease free seeds.

Butte seed Enjoyed your potatoes again this year even though rain prevented hilling them up after the first time. we then had a drought, weeds...You know what? Thee potatoes yield, size and quality was fantastic anyway..UNBELIEVABLE! Thanks...

MDay Wood Prairie Farm has the best organic seed potatoes on the market! We purchased Butte and Reddale for Spring 2010. The quality seed made very strong potato plants, high yields, and lastly the best tasting potatoes! Very impressive will always buy from you guys. Spring 2011 already ordered and can't wait.

JR Your seed potatoes are the best! Even though last summer was extremely dry, my Buttes did very well. I've had very little problem with disease and bugs, even when a local kind planted right next to them was dying from both! I've recommended your seed potatoes to my family and friends.

One of our top 5 producers From our experience, the Butte deserves a 5-star rating for three reasons. First, the Butte ranked 5th in pound/plant yield of the 15 Prairie Wood Farm varieties we planted. Second, we only had 1 plant out of 33 we planted that did not germinate. Third, out of the 33 hills, we only had 2 that were affected by the Colorado Potato Beetle. It goes without saying that the Butte is a very consistent and dependable potato to grow and it has an excellent restaurant quality baked potato skin. We will definitely grow the Butte next season.
