Write a reviewNot good in the extreme heat

I live in Phoenix. I have grown Wood Prairies yukon gold for 10yrs or more. This year I tried the yukon gem. The plants grew well, but small potatoes. The plants did not do well in our extreme heat. Once the temps got to 100 they started to wither, 1 day of 120 and they were all dead by the end of the day. Yukon Golds hold up much better in the heat. I will stick with those for now on. The gems are also a longer growing potato which probably explains why they did not do well here.
Outstanding

I tried these last summer in a grow bag and despite heat and drought they were outstanding. Excellent yield of medium to large tubers. Taste is fabulous--as good as Yukon Gold. I am ordering more this year.
