Dakota Ivory Corn is one of the very earliest short-season dry corns available anywhere, developed by our North Dakota friend organic farmer Steve Zwinger. An ivory-colored flour corn excellent for cornmeal, corn bread, polenta and other corn recipes. Cold soil tolerant, we raise this Dakota Ivory seed on small isolated seed plots on our Wood Prairie Farm in Northern Maine. This is high quality organic seed, PCR lab-tested for freedom from transgenic (GE) contamination. Sow at 3 kernels/foot @24"-36" rows. Pkt (~80 seeds) plants 25'. 21000 seeds/lb.
