Our organic potato crop is now growing out in the field. Potatoes are harvested in September and October each year and are available to ship to you at that time.
Seed Potatoes: After Harvest, potato tubers must go through a dormancy period before they will sprout and grow. This dormancy will last 4-10 weeks. For planting after December 1, the dormancy concern is a non-issue because our potatoes have completed their rest period here and will easily sprout and grow when warmed to room temperature.
Not sure what potato varieties you'd like to grow? Our experimenter's special starts you off right! Select up to 4 different seed varieties. It comes packed with 12 tubers for planting 12 hills.

I Love The Experimenter's Special
Jul 25, 2017 | By Herrick Kimball
I purchased an Experimenter's Special seed potato sampler this year for the first time. I planted the three small seed potatoes of each variety in individual 30" x 30" minibeds (which are part of an experimental gardening idea I'm working on). All of them have grown well. I've harvested two varieties so far. Onaway was the superstar grower, and it yielded 5 pounds of beautiful potatoes! The three little Onaway seed potatoes probably weighed around 4 ounces altogether, and they yielded 5 pounds! That's a remarkably satisfying outcome. The Huckleberry Gold minibed yielded only two pounds, but the HG flavor is superior enough that I'll grow them again. The other beds are yet to be dug. This Experimenter's Special is such a great idea! It's a fun way to sample the different potato varieties. I'll be back to buy another one (or two) of these Experimental Special packages next year, for sure!
